We design and lead engaging workshops for planning, community-building, team development, and ecosystem mapping. We often do graphic recording in these sessions as well.
We also charge for planning time.
Graphic recording is the art of illustrating salient points of a discussion in real time to help people see what's being said and make connections. Graphic recording can be done in person, on large sheets of paper, or virtually. In a virtual setting, we can live-stream the illustration or share periodic updates on the image as your meeting unfolds. A discount is applied for work booked (with a signed contract) at least two months before the engagement.
Set-up and breakdown for in-person engagements can take 90 minutes or more, depending on the complexity of the event. As such, in-person engagements are only billed by half-day (where meeting runtime from start to finish is 3 hours or less) or full-day (any meeting over 3 hours). We offer a discount for in-person engagements booked at least two months before the engagement date(s).
For this service, we charge by the hour with a $500 minimum.
This is when you send us a video recording of your meeting, conference, or conversation, and we create illustrations as if we were doing a live graphic recording. There is a one-hour minimum fee.
This add-on is available for virtual, asynchronous, and in-person graphic recording on an iPad or tablet.
We create illustrations and animations to illustrate complex ideas. We also design worksheets, workbooks, reports, flipbooks, and maps to enhance knowledge sharing. This is most often done with our role as graphic facilitators in retreats and conferences. Most illustration work will have some restrictions with regard to retail distribution and commercial purposes. Unlimited usage rights are subject to additional fees.
$1,000 minimum.
This page is provided for informational purposes. The fee ranges above reflect a sliding scale fee, starting with small to mid-size nonprofits and going up to larger philanthropies or corporate entities. A project's final cost will vary depending on the planning time, scope, duration, and usage rights included in the final artwork. If a meeting or event is more than 45 minutes from where we are based and begins early, we may arrive the day before to set up. We charge 1/2 time for travel. We'd happily discuss your project and give you a more accurate quote.
We cover a very wide spectrum of clients that include many philanthropies, organizational and change management firms, public sector community engagement initiatives, large and small businesses, corporations and nonprofits.
We also work with event production firms and marketing agencies.
Several of us are based in Philadelphia, PA in the United States, but we are increasingly national and international as a team. We do most in-person work across PA, NJ, NY, and Baltimore/Washington, D.C., but we also travel to other parts of the country and world.
We all speak English fluently, and we have several members of the team who are fluent and/or proficient in Spanish.
Please drop us a line if you are curious about having us come to your next gathering.
Yes! However, process and adaptation are at the core of what we illustrate and uplift. Therefore, we typically stick to illustrations, animation, and designs to help people plan or learn something new.
If you have a project in mind and aren’t sure if it’s a fit, drop us a line. We'll figure out if it is a fit or connect you to someone in our incredible network of artists who might be able to help.
OF COURSE.
